Koto, Shamisen, Kokyu player and composer

Studied under his parents, then under Makiko Saito and Katsuko Uchida. Graduated from Tokyo Arts University (Japanese Music) in 1989. Success in NHK Audition ('93). Participated in Asian Music Festival, Miyagi Koto Company Concerts in Hawaii ('91), mission of the Japanese Agency of Cultural Affairs for Turkey('94), Tokyo Inter Arts Concerts in Hannover & Berlin ('96), Tokyo Inter Arts Concerts in Sydney('97), Koto Concerts for Friendship Between Japan & China (2000), etc. in all over the world. Lecturer of Koto at Women's Art University since '95. Released CDs: "Sangenjaya"('94 Bamboo Records), "Octet"('95 as above), "Gozo Roppu"('98 as above). Also performed on TV and Radio. President of "Shinju no Kai". Composed, arranged music and performed a lot, using Japanese musical instruments. Published lots of articles. Lecturer or judge in many contests. Most of his compositions are published and performed by various musicians.
