Chisato Yagi

Darboukka player

Chisato Yagi is a Japanese Darboukka player. She studied darboukka under Lotfi Soua of l'Institut Superieur de Musique de Tunis and Lasaad Hosni. She joined in Le Club Bachraf in July 2007. Chisato gave concerts as a member of Le Club Bachraf in the 25th Medina Festival,Tunis(2007 November, Club Culturel Tahar Haddad). Guest performance Hannabal TV program "Ramadan Tent" (Tunis, Tunisia,2007). Also participated in the 44th International Festival of Hammamet, Tunisia(2008). Gave concert at La Fontaine Centre of Contemporary Art(Manama, Bahrain, 2009). Participated in the Festival Arts-Med "Shoumous"(Nabeul, Tunisia, 2010). Also gave concert at Saad Zaghloul Culture Center(Cairo, Egypt, 2011). American School in Japan "Winter Fest" (American School in Japan, Chofu, Tokyo, 2007) and Bahrain National Day Reception(Imperial Hotel, Tokyo,2007). Performed at Morocco's National day in Tokyo(Ascot Hall of Hotel Okura Tokyo, August 2011), and also performed at Egyptian-Japanese International Symposium 2011(Tokyo University, Tokyo, 2011), etc. She is also a member of "Chalpasah", Afghanistan folk music duo.
